Research: New and innovative electrolytes for the next generation of green energy storage devices

Vanessa Piacentini was born in Rome on 14/03/1997. In July 2019 she obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Rome La Sapienza with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. In July 2021 she obtained the Master's Degree in Chemistry, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. She carries out the internship of the Master's Degree at the laboratory of Computational Chemistry of Professor Enrico Bodo, dealing with a project entitled "Calculations by Density Functional Theory of chemisorption mechanisms of sulfur dioxide in ionic liquids based on amino acids".
In November 2021 she is the holder of a Green PhD scholarship (PON) at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Rome La Sapienza and currently she carries out her research activity under the supervision of Professor Enrico Bodo and Professor Sergio Brutti.
