Research: HOME MUSEUM SOCIETY Living, narrating and perceiving the interiors of the twentieth-century between Italy and France

Teresa Casale is an architect and a PhD student in Engineering-based architecture and urban planning at the Department of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome and at the École doctorale Sciences Sociales et Humanités dell'Université de Paris-Saclay. Originates from Basilicata, after graduating from high school, she dedicated herself to studying architecture, obtaining a Master's degree in Architecture for the Restoration and Valorisation of Heritage at the Politecnico di Torino with distinction. Her research focuses on the restoration and musealisation of twentieth-century architectural heritage. He had already explored this topic in his Master's thesis, "Material culture between museum and industry. Serica 1870: design proposal for a textile museum" regarding an industrial building. It is currently being explored in relation to residential architecture during her doctoral research. Other interests in cohesion and inclusion strategies, public residential construction, and gender studies are influenced by her focus on the social aspect.
