Silvia De Santis is Researcher of Romance Philology and Linguistics at the Sapienza University of Rome. She holds a Doctorate from the same university and a Diploma in Palaeography and Archivistics from the two-year Vatican School of Palaeography, Diplomatics and Archivistics. She works in the fields of Gallo-Romance philology and linguistics and manuscript traditions, with a particular focus on French novels of ancient subjects, Occitan theatre and Dante s Commedia. She is the author of essays and critical editions, including Il Mistero provenzale di Sant'Agnese. Edizione critica con traduzione e trascrizione delle melodie (2016), Blake and Dante: A Study of William Blake's Illustrations of the Divine Comedy including his critical notes (2017), and Galvano di Bologna. Tra la Commedia dantesca e il Roman de Troie di Benoît de Sainte-Maure. Ricerche (2019).
