Serena Terziani is currently a Phd student in Documentation studies, Linguistics and Literature, curriculum Historical-Literary and Gender Studies at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
After the bachelor's degree in Humanities, discussed at the University of Siena, she gratuated with full marks in Philosophical Sciences (master's degree) with the thesis "Il capability approach: una teoria parziale del bene in termini di capacità umane fondamentali ".
In 2019, to deepen her historical studies, she enrolled in Historical Sciences master's degree course (University of Siena), graduating in April 2021 with the thesis: "La violenza sessuale nella seconda metà del Novecento: casi a confronto e dibattito femminista". The paper is therefore the winner of the Tralerighe Storia award, organized by the publishing house Tralerighe (Lucca), and of the Angela Romanin graduation award, for the best thesis on male violence against women, organized by the Bologna Women's Houses.
