Seminars
PhD students hold two or more theoretical and planning seminars every year. The one-year design seminar includes lectures by scholars during which the theme is taught and, in parallel, the phd students of the two subsequent cycles, divided into working groups, develop a project followed by tutors from the teaching board. The results are subject to publication. In addition to the on-site seminars, the design seminar organized in collaboration with three other Italian doctorates: the doctorate in Architectural Composition of the IUAV of Venice, the DRiCIPP doctorate of the Polytechnic of Bari, the doctorate in Architecture of the Federico II University of Naples. Every year a cycle of lessons of the in the permanent seminar Le ragioni della ricercar “The reasons for research” is held in which the teaching board present their research in progress.
