Research: The historic city and climate change. Dialectic between protection and innovation for sustainable development

Architect with School of Specialisation in Architectural Heritage and Landscape, currently a PhD student at the Department of Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture - Sapienza University of Rome. The research area of the doctorate is the historical - heritage city and possible strategies for adapting the historical fabric to climate change. The question is how to adapt the historical fabric without losing its identity but enhancing it.
He has worked both as a freelancer dealing with projects for the restoration and as a technical assistant at the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. As a technician at the Ministry (2008-2018) assigned to the Capodimonte Museum in Naples, he collaborated on projects for the re-functionalisation of museum sites. In particular, he collaborated in the re-functionalisation processes of the Capodimonte Museum and Real Bosco di Capodimonte, also taking part in the setting up and care of the permanent and temporary collections.
