Riccardo De Santo was born in Anzio (RM) on 22/01/1999. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry in 2021 at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", with a compilative thesis in the field of General and Inorganic Chemistry entitled "Dye-sensitized solar cells and the use of nickel oxide", obtaining a grade of 109.
He obtained a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2023, at the same University, discussing an experimental thesis entitled "Sorption of cortisone on microplastics: kinetic and isotherm studies", obtaining a grade of 110/110 cum Laude.
Since November 2023 he holds a PhD scholarship at the Italian National Institute for Health, Department of Environment and Health, carrying out research activities in the field of human biomonitoring, through the development of advanced analytical techniques for the assessment and the characterization of human exposure to organic contaminants of environmental origin, under the supervision of Professor Chiara Cavaliere and Doctor Anna Laura Iamiceli.
