Research:
Patrizia Principi was trained at Sapienza-University of Rome, where she initially graduated with cum laude, the Bachelor's Degree in Historical-Artistic Studies, under the guidance of Prof. Stefania Macioce, then she achieved the Master Degree in Art History, supervised by Prof. Michela di Macco and Prof. Stefano Pierguidi, and the diploma of the School of Specialization in Historical-Artistic Heritage, under the supervision of Prof. Valter Curzi. From the academic year 2019-2020, at the same university, she is scholarship winner for the PhD in History of Art (XXXV cycle) with a project aimed at investigating "Immagini celesti: Sphera Theorica Planetarum et Reliqua Astrologiae nella Libraria e nelle collezioni di Francesco Maria II della Rovere" . Moreover, she has been attributed the qualification of expert in the subject in History of Modern Art (L-ART/02).
In 2018 she was co-curator of the Litografia Bulla. Un viaggio di duecento anni fra arte e tecnica, held at Palazzo Poli-Central Institute for Graphics in Rome. In the same year she was a speaker at the round table Crono-logiche: una rilettura degli anni ‘60 in Italia. Riflessioni sulle declinazioni del termine pop nel contesto culturale italiano, included in the program of the Special Days of Contemporary Culture of the GAM - Gallery of Modern Art of Rome.
In 2017 she participated profitably in the training course on the use of the SIGEC Web system, at the Central Institute for Catalog and Documentation - ICCD of Rome, and the following year to a fundraising specialization course for cultural institutions.
During her formation, she carried out traineeships at the Central Institute for Graphics, the Galleria Borghese, the Palazzo del Quirinale-Presidency of the Republic, the Italian Touring Club and the Department for the art of the XVII-XVIII centuries of the Vatican Museums. In the same years she collaborated with cultural associations conducting guided tours in the city of Rome, an activity also carried out in the field of volunteering for the international Open House Rome event.
