Research activities aims to investigate the influence of terminal settling and rising velocities on the transport and dispersion of microplastics in the marine environment by employing an original three-dimensional Lagrangian model developed by our research group (Prof. Giovanni Leuzzi, Dr. Agnese Pini, Dr. Simone Zazzini).
