Research: The portrayal of Italy in the Medieval Nordic sources
He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures with a thesis in German Literature entitled "Deutsche Hörer! Appunti sui radiomessaggi politici di Thomas Mann" (supervisor Prof. Jutta Linder), and a Master's Degree in Modern Languages, with a thesis in Germanic Philology entitled "Wagner e la riscoperta delle antichità germaniche" (supervisor Prof. Lorenzo Lozzi Gallo), at the University of Messina.
During his master's degree he completed an Erasmus traineeship Germany at the University of Bonn, where he collaborated with the Department of Scandinavian Languages and Literatures on the new edition of the work of the philologist Rudolf Simek, "Lexikon der germanischen Mythologie".
He is currently enrolled in the 38th cycle of the PhD in Germanic Philology at Sapienza University of Rome and studies Italian place names within Nordic texts of the medieval age (supervisor Prof. Alessandro Zironi).
