From 2022 Nadia Caruso is Associate Professor at DIST – Politecnico di Torino, (since 2016 she was a Temporary Researcher/Assistant in the same department).
She coordinated the research project URbANIsM – Urban RegenerAtioN Innovative Model with Newcastle University (UK). She teaches urban regeneration and housing policies, and planning at the Bsc and Msc in spatial planning and architecture at Politecnico di Torino.
From 2013 she has been taken part in several research projects, like:

From 2008 till 2016 she was teaching assistant at POLITO in the Bsc of planning studies and in 2015-26 Professor of the course Urban policies and projects in the Architecture Bsc.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES
Since 2015 she has been teaching in the Bsc and Msc in spatial planning and architecture at POLITO.
From 2016 she has been coordinating a design studio about planning and urban regeneration at the Bsc in spatial planning.
From 2021-22 she teaches spatial planning in a design studio in the English Msc of Architecture and Sustainability. From 2022-23 she teaches spatial planning in a design studio in the Msc of Heritage and architecture. Since 2018 Member of the teaching committee of the Urban and regional development PhD programme, where she teaches housing policies and social housing.
She has supervised more than 30 MA and BA theses.
She has proposed several innovative teaching activities in the Bsc and Msc of spatial planning, like workshops, podcasts, seminars, design activities.
