Research: Aeroacoustics Study of the Hyperbaric Chambers by Lattice Boltzmann Method

I completed my undergraduate studies in 2013 at Islamic Azad University. Also, in 2016, I majored in Mechanical Engineering again, in the field of Energy Conversion. It appealed to me to work on a multidisciplinary project. Therefore, I worked on a thesis titled “Experimental Investigation of Flow Field around the Cross-Section of an Insect Wing at Low Reynolds Number Using the PIV Technique” under the supervision of Dr. Hojaji.
I was interested in entrepreneurship, so in 2016 and for about three years, I tried to start a business with my classmates who worked in the A.F.M.A. laboratory to industrialize our ideas and abilities. But we failed, it was a valuable experience, and I learned more about the importance of soft skills such as teamwork and leadership.
I started my job as a technical inspector at a well-known and prestigious company named Tehran International Experts in 2019. After my manager witnessed my potential, he offered me to take another role as the branch manager. This role taught me soft skills, including leadership, project planning, and management.
During this time and in addition to these activities, I was also a researcher at A.F.M.A. laboratory. As this role and to develop my research skills, I have also participated in various research initiatives, such as jet into crossflow, thrust vector control, noise reduction of a supersonic jet, etc. My essential duties were involved running computer simulations, developing and operating experimental hardware, analyzing data, presenting results to my supervisor, and writing research papers. In this period, I was head of the student team that tried to equip the lab by designing and constructing some types of equipment nationally. The results of our ongoing efforts were the construction and commissioning of a low-subsonic wind tunnel, water tunnel, supersonic jets, measuring equipment including pressure measuring boxes at different ranges, three- and six-component balancing systems, hot wire anemometer, PIV, etc. that were constructed much cheaper than the similar models. Much time was spent equipping the lab, and It was a valuable but demanding experience. This increased my self-confidence and creativity because we had to design and build any equipment we needed with limited facilities. I am proud of the results of this project because this lab was transferred to the Aerospace and Energy Research Center of Najafabad University, where many pieces of research and projects are carried out. Our work received much attention from the president of Azad University, and he admired us as the elected excellent students.
In the fields related to Aerospace Science and Technology, I am always eager to learn more and take on new challenges. Recently, I started a PhD course at Sapienza University in the field of Energy and Environment and I working on Aeroacoustics by LBM. As a Ph.D. candidate, I'd like to carry out even more such activities and contribute to the university's growth and also I believe these experience will help me broaden my expertise in the subject with the assistance of world-known professors at the University of Sapienza.
