I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Sapienza University of Rome (Department of Economics and Law), where I earned an M.Sc. in Economics in 2021 and a B.Sc. in Economics and Finance in 2019.

My research focuses on the determinants and consequences of institutional distrust and economic inequalities of opportunity, with particular attention to their measurement issues.

Regarding the determinants of institutional distrust, I primarily investigate the different ways individuals consume information and their diverse family backgrounds. I employ both empirical and theoretical methods to analyze the evolution of trust in institutions and whether its recovery can be sustainable from a welfare perspective.

As for the measurement of inequalities of opportunity, my research examines their extent at the individual level, with specific focus to the measure of effort in the spirit of J.Roemer.
