Research: State responsibility in the realm of regional human rights systems’ monitoring bodies. Between fragmentation and progressive development of international law.
In 2020 she graduated in Law with honors and special acknowledgment at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali - LUISS Guido Carli, with a thesis in International Law entitled “The International Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Event of Armed Conflict” (Supervisor Prof. Pietro Pustorino).
Since November 2021 she is a PhD candidate in Public, Comparative and International Law - curriculum of International Order and Human Rights at the Department of Political Sciences of the Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (XXXVII cycle - IUS/13).
She is Teaching Assistant for the Chairs of International Law and International Protection of Human Rights at the Department of Law of LUISS Guido Carli. During her university path, she attended a summer school at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and spent a semester as a visiting student at the University of Helsinki; besides, she participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition as a member of the LUISS Team, finalist in the Italian National Rounds.
In 2021 she attended the Winter Courses on International Law held by The Hague Academy of International Law. In January 2022, she carried out a traineeship at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, working within the Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law.
She conducted a research stay at the Peace Palace Library in The Hague, The Netherlands (July 2023); additionally, she was visiting researcher at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at Leiden Law School (November-December 2023).
In 2022 she applied for the Sapienza Call for Research and received a grant to further develop a research project (Progetto di Avvio alla Ricerca - Tipo 1) on interstate human rights complaints.
After having successfully completed the legal traineeship at the Avvocatura Generale dello Stato in Rome, dealing mainly with applications to the European Court of Human Rights, in October 2022 she was admitted to practice law (Rome Bar).
She has published in law reviews and has participated, also as a panelist, in national and international conferences. Since June 2022, she is a member of SIDI - Società Italiana di Diritto internazionale e dell'Unione Europea.
Her research interests are public international law, international human rights law, state responsibility, cultural heritage protection and regional human rights systems.
