MARINELLA CERAVOLO Researcher email: marinella.ceravolo@uniroma1.it phone: Marinella Ceravolo, after obtaining a three-year degree in Ancient History from the University of Pisa, conducted her master's studies in historical-religious sciences at Sapienza - University of Rome, where she then obtained the title of PhD in 2020. History of religions. You conducted research in France and Germany, later becoming an expert in the subject History of Religions. Her research focused on Mesopotamian mythology and ritualism, in particular on cosmogonic treatments and the "washing of the mouth" (mīs pî) ritual relating to the activation of the cult statue. In her studies she makes extensive use of the theories of cognitive linguistics, through which she has based her analyzes on the historiola and the semantics of dance and peace in Mesopotamia.
