Thesis title: La ricezione dell’arte e della produzione vetraria veneziana tra gli anni Cinquanta e Ottanta del Novecento: esposizioni, gallerie, istituzioni, protagonisti
The thesis investigates the history of exhibitions dedicated to Murano glass held between 1950 and 1980 in Venice, Italy and internationally. By mapping the exhibition events that enlivened the Venetian art scene alongside the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale exhibitions, organised in particular by the Istituto Veneto per il Lavoro and the Fucina degli Angeli, the work reconstructs the reception and climate of interest surrounding these events, placing them in relation to the broader debate on decorative arts and the art system of the post-war period.
