Thesis title: Francesco Fracanzano (1612-1656)
The thesis presents a study on Francesco Fracanzano (1612–1656), aiming to restore his artistic autonomy within the panorama of seventeenth-century Neapolitan painting. Through documentary analysis and a renewed corpus of works, the research outlines for the first time a chronological and reasoned catalogue of the artist, accompanied by a critical interpretation that redefines his profile and his contribution to the figurative culture of Naples.
