Phd in LANDSCAPE AND ENVIRONMENT

Maria Chiara Libreri (Palermo, 1993) graduated with honors and mention in Architecture at the University of Palermo in the a.y. 2017-18 with a thesis entitled “Landscape Vernacular Experience. Design reinterpretation of Solar Maya: the case of Manì in Mexico” [Prof. Fausta Occhipinti, co-supervisors: Prof. Darío Álvarez Álvarez (Universidad de Valladolid), Prof. Marisol del Carmen Ordaz Tamayo (Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán)]. In the a.y. 2016/2017 she attended the Escuela técnica superior de arquitectura-Universidad de Valladolid, through the Erasmus project, and carried out the professional internship at the LAB / PAP Laboratorio de paisaje arquitectonico patrimonial y cultural, Research Group of the University of Valladolid . In 2018 she was the winner of the "Student trips and study stays" call at the Facultad de Arquitectura-Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, where she will carry out field research for the elaboration of the master's thesis. In the a.y. 2018-19 he obtained the II level Master in Architecture and landscape representation at the University of Rome 3 writing a thesis entitled "From the eye to the finger. The perception of the landscape in the age of digital arthrosis of the fingers ", developed at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture et de paysage of Lille with prof. Bertrand Le Boudec. In parallel with your academic training, she has collaborated with professional studios, both in the design of Architecture and interiors and of outdoor spaces.
