Scientific activity

Research interests

The research relates to two main areas: 1) Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on design and usability evaluation of interactive systems and e-learning, 2) Image Processing and Biometric systems. The meeting point between the two areas is identified in the role of the image in the interaction between man and machine in contexts such as Ambient Intelligence and secure interaction.
