Research: Technology and Work: The Impact of Innovation on Job Quality

In 2021, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in "Science Economiche" from Sapienza University, with a thesis focused on analysing the economic impact of labour market liberalisation. In 2023, I earned a Master's degree in "Economics" from the same university, deepening my study on the effects of robotization on the labour market, with particular attention to employment and wages, using the Panel S-VAR approach.

During my Ph.D. studies, I focused on analysing the impact of technological change on job quality. Specifically, in the first chapter of my doctoral thesis, I explored the relationship between automation and occupational health and safety (OHS), examining the effect of robot introduction on workplace injuries and fatalities. I had the opportunity to present this research at several conferences, including the eighth international ASTRIL conference at Roma Tre University.

In 2024, I received the "Merit Award," granted by "Fondazione Il Talento all'Opera" and "Fondazione EY," for my participation in the Seasonal School "Economics of Innovation and Technological Change" at "Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna", Pisa. In this occasion, I presented a study revisiting the model "Increasing Returns and Path Dependence in the Economy," originally developed by Arthur (1994).
