Research: The Architecture of Spectatorship: virtual and illusory visions in the domestic space staging
He earned a degree in Architectural Design from Sapienza University of Rome in 2017, with a design thesis developed as part of the international workshop "Sea Level Rise and the Future of Coastal Settlements", hosted by the University of Florida in Gainesville, USA. Subsequently, he gained experience collaborating with renowned Italian architecture firms, including Labics, C+S Cappai e Segantini, and Metroarea Architetti, working on projects of various scales both nationally and internationally. To further his education, he completed a postgraduate master’s program in "BIM + BIM Project Management" at IUAV University of Venice. In 2020, he joined Mecanoo Arkitekten, an international architecture firm based in the Netherlands, where he participated in prestigious international urban competitions and significant projects in the hospitality and cultural building sectors, including the redevelopment and extension of the Kruisherenhotel in Maastricht and the design of the new Jacob’s Pillow Doris Duke Theatre in the United States. Since 2021, he has been a PhD candidate at the DRACo (Architecture and Construction) postgraduate school of Sapienza University of Rome, conducting research on the theatricalization of domestic space. From 2024, he has also contributed to teaching activities at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Rome, within the Master’s program in Hospitality. Since 2012, he has been the co-founder of ROBOCOOP, an innovative research and urban art intervention project active in Italy and Europe.
