Research:

Juanita Jaramillo (Bogotà, 1995) graduated in Drama, art and music studies at the University of Bologna in 2017 with a thesis in Semiotics of arts (supervisor: Prof. Lucia Corrain).
In 2020 obtained her Master’s degree in Visual Arts at the University of Bologna with a thesis in Semiotics of the visible entitled “Migrazione dei simboli tra Semiotica e Iconologia. Il caso di Angelino Medoro”, with Prof. Lucia Corrain as supervisor and Prof. Sonia Cavicchioli as co-supervisor.
The same year attend a course in Introduction to Paleography at the University Carlos III of Madrid.
During the course of studies, she made in 2016 an internship at Fondazione Federico Zeri in Bologna as well as an internship at Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna in 2019.
She is currently enrolled at the XXXVII cycle of the Phd in History of Art.
