Since the first March 2022, Isabella Ferron is a researcher (RTD-B) in Language and Translation - German Language German (SSD L-LIN/ 14) at the Department of Linguistic and Cultural Studies of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. For the same SSD she was a researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Political Science at Sapienza University and research fellow at the Italian Institute of Germanic Studies (Rome).
Germanic Studies (Rome). Her academic training took place mainly between Italy and Germany, where she obtained her PhD.
Her main research interests include:
1. Politolinguistics;
2. History of the German language;
3. Cognitive and contrastive Linguistics;
4. Translation theories
