Research: “The value of official statistics: a quantitative analysis on the effect of quality data in economic performance”
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Economics and Law of Sapienza University in Rome. I hold an MSc in Public Policy at the University of San Andrés (Argentina) and a postgraduate specialization in Capital Markets at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
I am an Economist from the University of Buenos Aires, and my research interests are in statistical policy and the role of official statistics. My research project aims to generate quantitative evidence on the impact of quality data, as a tool for efficient resource allocation, macroeconomic stability, and sustainable development.
In the past, I have held a position at the National Statistics Office of Argentina. I have also worked for other statistical offices, international organizations such as FAO and the Inter-American Development Bank, think tanks such as Cepei in Colombia, and in university teaching and research at the University of Buenos Aires.
