 Alexandre Johannides prize of the (french) Academy of Sciences, 2006.
 Grant from the Clay Mathematics Institute. With my collaborators
we wrote a book on Perelman's works including our approach to the
proof of the Geometrisation's Conjecture, published in 2009.
 European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant for the program
"Geometry and Topology of Open Manifolds", February 2013 - Jan-
uary 2018.
Teaching (selection)
 Courses at Ecole Nationale des Techniques Avancees (Paris). In this
engineering school I gave several courses on the study of the di eo-
morphisms of the circle.
 Professor at Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau) from September 1st, 1993
until August 31st, 2006. This is a temporary position which I held in
complement of my position at C.N.R.S in Grenoble.
Administration (selection)
 Chairman of the Institut Fourier from January 1st, 2011 till December
31st, 2015.
 Member of the Administrative Board (Conseil d'Administration) of
the Institut Henri Poincare (IHP). From 2012 until July 2019. During
this period I chaired the committee which hired the new Director of
IHP, Sylvie Benzoni, who succeeded Cedric Villani.
 Member of the Scienti c Board (Conseil de Programmation Scien-
ti que) of IHP. From December 2015 until December 2019.
 Member of the Scienti c Board of the Institute of Mathematics
(INSMI) of CNRS. I started in 2018.
