Architect and Engineer, Ph.D.
He conducts research in the fields of civil energy and environmental control.
His work particualry focuses on building energy efficienct and automated-digital management of microgeneration networks. He has been and presently is, principal investigator of several national and internatiol research programs.
He holds teaching positions at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering, CdLM Energetics and at the Faculty of Architecture, CdL Project Management.

Since 2001 he has been a professor of Building physics and building energy systems at Sapienza University of Rome.
From 2002 to 2008 he was a professor of Technical Systems at the Officers School of Military Engineers of Rome.
Since 2010 he has been a professor at the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage at Sapienza University of Rome.

Director of the Master in “Integrated management and valorisation of real estate and urban assets - Asset, property, facility & energy management” at the Sapienza University of Rome.
Member of the Scientific Council of the Master in “Building Information Modeling”.
