Phd in LANDSCAPE AND ENVIRONMENT

Giuseppe Geraci (Caltanissetta, 1993) attended the school of Architecture of the University of Palermo. He graduated cum laude and mention during the a.y. 2018-2019 with a dissertation supervised by Prof. Z. Tesoriere on architectural and urban design titled "Innesto e attacco al cielo" about the reuse of a building from the second half of the twentieth century sited on Palermo ring road. In October 2020 he applied with the same dissertation for the national prize NIB - New Italian Blood for dissertations on architectural design, ranking second. That same year he moved from Palermo to Rome, and during the a.y. 2019-2020 he received his second degree Master in P.A.R.E.S. (Progettazione Architettonica per il Recupero dell’Edilizia storica e dello Spazio urbano), graduating cum laude at the school of Architecture of the University La Sapienza of Rome with a dissertation on architectural and landscape design entitled "Fra memoria e paesaggio", on the recovery of a eighteenth-century factory's gardens sited on the gorges of Nera (Narni, Umbria). Alongside the academic training, he worked in architectural firms specialized both in architectural and urban design. Currently he is a PhD student of the XXXVII cycle at PhD Landscape and environment of University La Sapienza of Rome, architecture and design department. During the a.y. 2021-2022 he works as a assistant lecturer at the Final Synthesis studio in architectural and urban design of Prof. Fabrizio Toppetti.
