Research: The presence of women in the Parisian art market in the second half of the nineteenth century
Giulia Perin graduated with honors in History of Art at La Sapienza University of Rome, in 2012 with a bachelor’s thesis entitled "Berthe Morisot and Italy" (Supervisor: Prof. Antonella Sbrilli) and in 2015 with a master's degree thesis entitled "Italian Art at the 1878 Universal Exposition in Paris" (Supervisor: Prof. Antonella Sbrilli, co-supervisor: Dr. Cinzia Virno).
In 2014, she won the scholarship for the thesis abroad thanks to which she wrote part of the master’s thesis at the documentation center of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
During her formation, she collaborated with the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Rome (May 2013 – January 2014).
In 2015 she collaborated with the "Antonio Mancini" Archive in Rome.
Since 2015, she has been working in the art market as consultant for Italian and international galleries.
Since 2020, she has been an expert at the Chamber of Commerce of Rome in the XXIV Antiquities and Fine Arts category and since 2021 she has been a CTU of the Civil Court of Rome.
In October 2022, she won a scholarship for the XXXVIII cycle of the PhD in History of Art at La Sapienza University of Rome with a project dedicated to "The presence of women in the Parisian art market in the second half of the nineteenth century".
Since January 2023, she has been a subject expert in History of Contemporary Art (L-ART/03).
