My research focuses on animal communication in the frame of the contemporary debate. I explore animal communicative capacities from both a conceptual and a cognitive point of view by making reference to theoretical-philosophical, cognitive and empirical-ethological studies. In particular, I examine animal semantics and animal pragmatics starting from an analysis of the concept of intentionality.
