Research: The Catalogue raisonné and the history of art of 1960's-1970's. Problems of method, research perspectives, open questions
Giuditta Sciamanna (San Benedetto del Tronto, 1992) graduated at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" the bachelor’s degree in historical-artistic studies (supervisor: Mrs Francesca Gallo) and with honors the master’s degree in art history (supervisor: Mrs Carla Subrizi, co-supervisor: Mr. Claudio Zambianchi). To write her master’s thesis on Jackson Pollock’s solo exhibition at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome (March, 1958), she carried out a research trip to the Archives of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. After her Master’s degree, she dedicated herself to the study of Archiving with a contemporary and digital focus, attending the Advanced Training course at the Archivio Centrale dello Stato in Rome. Over the years he has collaborated with La Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome, Musei Capitolini, Fondazione Baruchello.
She is currently a Phd candidate with a research project entitled "The Catalogue raisonné and the history of art of 1960's-1970's. Problems of method, research perspectives, open questions".
