Giorgia Urriani was born in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) on 07/04/2001.
In 2023, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry with full marks (110/110 cum laude) at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, carrying out an internship in the laboratory of Prof. Stefano Zacchini, where she worked on synthesis and reactivity of sulfur-containing iron carbide carbonyl clusters.
In 2025, she achieved her Master’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry with full marks (110/110 cum laude) at the same university, conducting an internship under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Bencivenni and defending an experimental thesis about atroposelective photoisomerization of styrenic systems.
In November 2025, she began her PhD in Chemical Sciences at La Sapienza - University of Rome and currently she carries out her research in the Department of Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Olivo.
