I am a Ph.D. student with a solid background in energy and nuclear engineering and a deep passion for advanced nuclear reactors, particularly liquid-metal-cooled systems.
My research project focuses on developing numerical tools to simulate severe accident phenomena in lead-cooled fast reactors. This work aims to enhance the understanding of such events and contribute to establishing a robust foundation for the design and safety analyses of these reactors.
The project will benefit from my thesis work, which allowed me to develop skills in multi-physics coupling between neutronics and thermal-hydraulics. This experience provided me with valuable insights into modeling multi-physics systems and integrating computational codes.
