Giacomo Di Muccio is currently a Phd student in Documentation studies, Linguistics and Literature, curriculum Historical-Literary and Gender Studies at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
Obtained the bachelor’s degree in Italian Literature from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, he enrolls in the master's degree in Modern Philology which ends with full marks with the thesis “Poesia omoaffettiva nel Medioevo di area umbra”.
During the master's course he held a series of seminars entitled "Tradition of the masculine and feminine in literature".
The research interests focus mainly on gender stereotypes mediated by the narratives of Italian literature, with particular reference to the (self) representations of the male in the medieval period.
He has published and still collaborates in the drafting of articles and online interventions on the discorsidelgenere.com site on the topics of interest and research.
