Research: Implementation of a flux control in case of permanent magnet synchronous machine in magnetic saturation

Francesco Lelli (Ravenna 1996) obtained the bachelor degree in Computer and Automatic Engineering (Automatic curriculum) and the master's degree in Control Engineering respectively in 2018 and 2021 at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", both with laude.

Since November 2021 he is a PhD student in Electrical, Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering at the laboratory of electrical machines and drives. The research project focuses on the implementation of a non-linear flux control for permanent magnet synchronous machines.

He is currently a student member of the IEEE Industry Applications Society and IEEE Power Electronics Society.
