PhD candidate in "Public, Comparative and International Law" ("International Order and Human Rights" track) since november 2025.

Francesca holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from City St George's, University of London and an LL.M. (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam, where she graduated in 2020 with a thesis in International Investment Law. In January 2025, she also gained an MA in International Relations (cum laude) from La Sapienza, University of Rome.

Prior to joining the PhD programme, she gained professional experience working as Project Officer at the Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini in Rome, contributing to the provision of technical assistance to the managing authorities of EU Structural and Investment Funds.

Her research focuses on the protection of the human rights of migrants and asylum seekers within the European Union.
