Associate Professor of Interior Architecture and Exhibit Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. He investigates the spatial properties of architectures and the city. His research activity, for which he has received prizes and awards, focuses on architectural space as theatre of human actions with special regards to the spaces of infrastructures, mobility and public spaces, and interactions of contemporary urban needs with archaeological heritage and built environment, including exhibit design. The most recent projects include the San Giovanni and Colosseo stations of the metro C line in Rome, the Museo del Mare at Magazzino26 in Trieste, and several other projects for archaeological sites. Lectures extensively and writes regularly on architecture, exploring topics such as space, light, form, and atmospheres; he was a lecturer at national and international workshops and master, he is invited to give lectures at various universities and regularly participates in international conferences. He is member of the teaching committee of the PhD in Theory and Project and Head of agreements and protocols of international cooperation with Belarus and Montenegro. Co-founder of LP.studio: a practice involved in a variety of projects at different scales, ranging from infrastructures to public buildings, sacred spaces, housing and exhibit design that earned them several prizes and awards.
