Research: Protecting the freedom of non-believers as a contribution to building positive peace
Federica Marigonda is a PhD candidate in Peace Studies (Curriculum 2: Identities, Memories, Religions and Peace). She holds a single-cycle Master’s degree in Law from the University of Padua, where she wrote her dissertation in comparative public law on the relationship between the principle of proportionality and the separation of powers in Germany.
She carried out her research and thesis work at the Faculty of Law of the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, graduating with highest honours (110/110 cum laude) and academic distinction.
From 2025, she will serve as a teaching assistant in Italian and European Constitutional Law at the University of Padua. She is also completing her legal traineeship for qualification to the bar, working in both Italian civil and criminal law.
Since 2023, she has been a member of "Marafiki Primary School ETS", an organisation committed to protecting children and promoting access to education in Kadaina, Kenya.
