I am currently a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at Sapienza University of Rome. Previously, I earned a bachelor's degree in Socioeconomics from the University of Hamburg and a dual master's degree from the University of Pavia and the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (China). Additionally, I attended the postgraduate "Advanced Study Program" at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (Germany), where I conducted research on social capital and cognitive skills, with a particular focus on their economic impact in Papua New Guinea.
My doctoral research focuses on behavioral economics and its relevance to the climate crisis, analyzing the effects of climate risk exposure on Indigenous populations and their propensity for cooperation on Bougainville Island, Papua New Guinea. Furthermore, I apply behavioral economics to promote the inclusion of vulnerable groups and improve urban policies in European cities. In this field, I have collaborated with the LINKS Foundation in Turin on the Horizon JUST STREETS project.
