Fabio Candiano was born in Rome (RM) on May 31, 1999. In July 2023, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (L-27) from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” completing a compilation thesis in Analytical Chemistry entitled “Application of Dispersive Liquid–Liquid Microextraction (DLLME) for the analysis of water in the environmental field” and graduating with a final grade of 109/110. In October 2025, at the same university, he earned his Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry (LM-54) with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude, defending an experimental thesis entitled “Development of an analytical methodology for the analysis of microplastics and associated additives in indoor dust using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques”, carried out under the supervision of Professor Francesca Buiarelli. Since November 2025, he has held a PhD fellowship in Chemical Sciences and is conducting his research under the supervision of Professor Francesca Buiarelli and Dr. Patrizia Di Filippo.
