Research:
In March 2020, Davide Lipari obtained a master's degree in Art History from University of Bologna, cum laude, presenting a dissertation entitled “Angelo Gabriello Piò scultore bolognese (1690-1769). Nuove ricerche e traccia per un catalogo” (Supervisior: Andrea Bacchi; Co-Supervisor: Alessio Costarelli). In the same year he completed an internship at the Museum of Palazzo Poggi.
He is the author of seven catalogue data sheets for the exhibition “La Grande Bellezza. L'art à Rome au XVIIIe siècle 1700-1758” edited by Bacchi, Barroero, Zanella (Ajaccio, Museum Fesch, exhibition postponed to 2022).
In October 2020 he obtained a PhD scholarship from the University of La Sapienza in Rome, where he's working now on a doctoral project entitled “Ercole Ferrata scultore e ‘professore’ lombardo (1610-1686). Vita, opere, geografia e collezionismo”.
