He graduated in Social and Urban Geography at the University of Florence.
Interested in the social and economic transformations of highly historicized territorial fabrics, he has deepened his knowledge of the effects of the tourism and restaurant industry.
He collaborated in the development and implementation of quantitative and qualitative studies with the Laboratory of Social Geography in Florence and with the INRS (Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique du Québec), and taught at Middlebury University in Florence.
In his current research, he studies migrant workers in the tourism industry in Florence’s historic center.
