Research: The Architecture of Widespread Prison: urban network for the rethinking of Detention Spaces
PhD student in Peace Studies, curriculum in Architectures and Landscapes of Peace, at Sapienza University of Rome, with a research project on penitentiary architecture titled The Architecture of Widespread Prison: urban network for the rethinking of Detention Spaces within the scientific disciplinary sector SSD ICAR/14.
She holds a single-cycle master’s degree in Building Engineering - Architecture (LM-4 c.u.) at the University of Brescia, with a thesis titled Link – Bridging the Gap. Regeneration project of Ex Arici Sega area in San Polo (BS). Her academic and professional career is characterized by a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation in the fields of architecture and urban planning. She has participated in international workshops and conferences, collaborating on urban regeneration and architectural redevelopment projects, with a particular focus on the preservation of historical heritage and social inclusivity. In her work, she combines technical skills, acquired through internships and research experiences, with an interdisciplinary approach aimed at conflict management, peacebuilding, and socially responsible architectural design in response to migration and humanitarian crises.
