Research:
She graduated in Science of Cultural Heritage at Università degli studi di Urbino Carlo Bo, then she continued her studies with a Master’s degree in the History of art at Sapienza Università di Roma. In the same period she had an extracurricular internship in the Education Department of MAXXI.
In 2015-2016 she attended the Master in “Experts in the protection of cultural heritage” at Università Roma Tre, where she published an article, taken from her final dissertation: “Gli affreschi della Scuola di Arti Ornamentali di Roma. Per una migliore azione di tutela attraverso lo studio storico”, in the volume “Prospettive per la tutela del patrimonio culturale”, edited by Giuliana Calcani (Edizioni Efesto, Rome, 2017).
In 2016-2017 she worked in the research project of Sapienza Università di Roma “Art, an open window into the adolescent Brain?”; she also worked as a guide and educational tutor in cultural associations and attended a course in Restoration of paintings at Scuola di Arti Ornamentali of Rome.
Her article entitled “La ricerca d’archivio per la ricostruzione della storia conservativa” in the book “Sironi Svelato. Il restauro del murale della Sapienza” edited by Eliana Billi e Laura d’Agostino (Campisano editore, Rome, 2017), concluded her collaboration at research for the historical reconstruction about the censorship operations and the restoration choices made on the Sironi’s artwork in the post-war period.
She continues her research on the studium urbis of Rome in the PhD project “La Città Universitaria di Roma e il problema della ricostruzione nel secondo dopoguerra: arte e architettura fascista tra censura e conservazione”.
