Thesis title: Cartografia al “potere”: Le Sale delle Carte Geografiche al Palazzo dell’Aeronautica di Roma
The research work falls within the domain of historical cartography and studies of a propagandistic nature and the relationship with power in the context of cartographic representation. The theme revolves around the semiotic analysis of the cartographic cycle located within certain halls of the Palazzo dell'Aeronautica in Rome, designed and built in 1931 by order of the Fascist regime, and its re-contextualization within its historical framework in order to extrapolate its political meanings and messages.
