Arianna Punzi is Full Professor of Romance Philology, General Editor of «Criticadel testo». Her main research interests lie with Old French narrative, and its reception in other linguistic areas, in particular in Italy. Recently she has also published on the Lancelot en prose, and on the transmission of classical literature in the Middle Ages in both Latin and Romance languages, with special reference to modern rewritings of the Theban and Trojan cycles. She has published extensively on Dante and his Comedy.
