Research: Bologna and Roma. Research into 'low' genre and trade painting in the 17th century

Arianna Manes graduated cum laude in 2018 in Visual Arts at the University of Bologna, discussing a thesis entitled Candido Vitali (1680-1753), painter of flowers, fruit and animals (supervisor Prof. Daniele Benati co-supervisor Giulia Palloni). In 2021, she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Historical and Artistic Heritage at the same university with full marks. She carried out several internships at the Gabinetto dei Disegni e delle Stampe of the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Bologna and in 2022 was a collaborator of the same museum with the Ministry of Culture's '130 Young People for Culture' program. Currently, she continues her collaboration with the Pinacoteca and is a doctoral student in Art History at Sapienza University of Rome.
