Research: The Works of Gentile Bellini
Antonio Soldi (Florence, 1995). In 2020, he received his bachelor's degree from IULM in Milan, cum laude, discussing a thesis on Gentile Bellini's experience to Istanbul in relation to the birth and spread of the founding taste of the Turcherie (supervisor: Prof. Lorenzo Finocchi Ghersi). In 2022 he received his master's degree, cum laude, from La Sapienza in Rome, discussing a dissertation on Gentile Bellini's Opera (supervisors: Prof. Alessandro Zuccari and Prof. Augusto Gentili). From September 2022, he started the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage at La Sapienza University of Rome. From December 2021 to March 2023 he worked at the Roman auction house Arcadia assisting in the department of old master paintings. In 2022 he was in charge of the study and cataloguing of a group of works from the "Alfredo Dusmet" collection kept at the M.A.I. museum at the National Galleries of Ancient Art in Palazzo Barberini. He is currently a lecturer at the chair of History of Art Criticism (Prof. Tommaso Casini) at Iulm University in Milan.
