REPORT ON THE STUDY AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023 BY THE DOCTORAL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN CYCLE 38 (1ST YEAR)
The study and research activities of the ABRO students enrolled in cycle 38 took place regularly.

The PhD students fully completed the forms showing their training activities, scientific production, national and international mobility and dissemination activities. As they are students in their first year of doctoral studies, the main activity was devoted to training in compliance with the ABRO PhD regulations.
Only the following activities are reported, if any:
- any significant achievements (awards or other),
- collaborations and interactions between doctoral students measured by publications in their joint names,
- research projects for which they are responsible (in particular, Start of Research)
- funding of joint and individual research projects for mobility abroad.
COLLABORATIONS AND INTERACTIONS BETWEEN PHD STUDENTS
As regards collaborations and interactions between PhD students, several joint publications are observed between PhD students from the same ABRO programme. The student BALDISSERI has several publications in collaboration with doctoral students from previous cycles [1][2][3][4]. Student SASSO has one publication with a PhD student from a previous cycle [5].
Andrea RANIERI has presented several Abstracts at international conferences jointly with a PhD student from a previous cycle [6][7][8][9].

RESEARCH PROJECTS
PhD students are included and actively participate in research programmes of the lecturers of the college.
They have been found to be responsible for Research Initiation Projects.

COLLABORATIONS AND INTERACTIONS BETWEEN DOCTORAL CANDIDATES
Regarding collaborations and interactions between PhD students, several publications in joint names between PhD students from the same ABRO programme, but also from other doctorates, are observed. In particular, Corrado COPPOLA has collaborated with a doctoral student from the programme in Computer Engineering [1]; Daniele PATRIA has collaborated with a doctoral student from a foreign university [2]; Elena MONGIARDINI has presented several Abstracts at international conferences jointly with a doctoral student from the following cycle [3][4][5][6].

As far as collaborations and interactions between doctoral students are concerned, several publications in the joint names of doctoral students from the same ABRO programm but also from other PhDs are observed. In particular, the students of the Automatica curriculum Andrea WRONA, Danilo MENEGATTI, Andrea TANTUCCI published together [1],[2],[3]. For the Operations Research curriculum Marta MONACI and Federico D'ONOFRIO published together [4],[5]. Marta MONACI has also collaborated with a PhD student in the Data Science programme in [6]. Davide MEROLLA has a publication with a doctoral student in the next cycle [7].
