He has been with the Department of Architecture and Design since 1 November 2019.
Since 1998 he has been working at Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture. Since 1998 he has been attached to the ITACA Department, subsequently renamed DATA and then again PDTA (until 2019).
He carries out scientific activities on issues relating to technological innovation in building processes and design; to quality control of the project with particular attention to the development and application of scientific-operational tools and guidelines, in relation to the individual stages of design and the relationship between the design phase and the construction phase of building interventions.
Particular interest in scientific activity has been devoted to complex public works, with application to the health and social-sanitary building sector. On these topics, she has taken part in numerous scientific activities, and has been responsible for and coordinated several PRIN research projects and third-party activities stipulated between universities, local health authorities and other public bodies. In this field, she has collaborated for public institutions on various national design regulations, drawing up guidelines and standards for the design of health and sociomedical facilities, within specific national intervention programmes, and has carried out design and consultancy activities on the feasibility, quality control and implementation of building processes.
