RESEARCH PROJECT
Project title: A new prognostic tool for pituitary tumours
Project overview: Validation of the prognostic value of the new system proposed by the
PANOMEN 3 panel for the classification and grading of pituitary tumours (PitNET) surgically and not surgically treated. Comparison and possible correlation with the “Trouillas” clinico-pathological classification, focusing on the diagnostic thresholds of tumour proliferation markers (p53, number of mitoses, ki67); in-depth study of molecular markers of tumour aggressiveness (somatic genetic mutations) for lactotroph and corticotroph subtypes , according to the latest European guidelines on the management and treatment of aggressive pituitary tumours and carcinomas.
MOBILITY
PhD in international joint supervision with Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in Lyon (France).
